Description

Most honey farms have a number of problems or potential issues that either result in lost productivity or manual intervention to restart the farms. Generally, they fill all their dispensers with glass bottles which requires 9 stacks per hive. This can be not only very expensive, but also can cause the farm to break when it runs out of bottles. Or they cram the bees into such a small space they have trouble pathfinding back into their hives to deposit their honey.

This farm has been designed to avoid all of those issues. Each slice is 1 wide and tileable. Each slice is capable of being run using only a single bottle (although that would require you to empty it and put it back in the system after each harvest, so I DO recommend you throw a bunch of empty bottles into the system). This farm is a bit more expensive to build than a regular honey farm, but the expense is offset by the ease of maintenance and use.

Some notes:
 - While this farm is 1 wide and tileable, it's generally a bad idea to let your bees cross chunk borders as the game may delete them if they are on a chunk border when the chunk unloads.
 - Like all farms, it will only work when the chunk it's in is loaded inside the simulation distance for one or more players... for a completely passive farm it's best to put it near an area that is frequently loaded... but...
 - For ideal AFK placement, I recommend building the farm in the nether... where the bees will never sleep and can produce honey 24x7.
 - This farm was designed to be partially submerged into the ground so that the grass blocks line up with the ground around the farm. From there you can reach the output chest, craft honey blocks, and put the newly emptied bottles back into the chest at the top.
